Obituary for Gary Lee Starr

Gary Lee Starr passed away in his Tabor, Iowa home from a long standing illness on October 16, 2018. Gary attended Fremont-Mills school and worked various jobs like farming on his father’s farm and welding. Gary had a jovial spirit, often joking around with his siblings, parents, and nieces. He enjoyed working with his hands in the garden, completing home repairs, and various other handy projects around the home. He also loved his pets dearly and rescued many cats from the Humane Society.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Mary Starr of Tabor, IA, and grandparents Elsie and Glen Starr, and Alvin and Maxine Hall. May Gary rest in peace, without pain, and be reunited with his parents and grandparents whom he loved dearly. He is survived by a brother, Harry Starr, Jr. and his wife Carolyn, a sister, Lea Anne Maynes and her husband Richard, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
